The only other decent sketch of recent (sigh). This is a Russian aristocrat wearing a dress from around 1825-30. I got the design off a paper doll book (gotta love those). It was really informative... soo apparently the nobility's style changed most drastically around the time of Peter I the Great (early 18th century). Before Russians wore these enormous arabic-style things (which I prefer to the French style, actually).
